Some previous discussion on this possible plot:
olympemaxime.proboards75.com/index.cgi?board=junkyard
Beauxbatons
volskvich.proboards33.com/
Durmstrang
Before anything can begin to be organized, the rest of the members will need to express interest. If they do, I'll have to join the other two sites and approach the admins with the idea and, in turn, they'll have to present it to their members. If it gets that far, there's still quite a bit that needs to be worked out. Like I said, complex, but possibly worth it.
If this idea's approved by this site, then another plot can still go on to involve those not in the Tournament.
*takes deep pride*
Alright, now, if we're going to do this, several things need to be sorted out before I approach the admins of the other sites.
First of all, there needs to be an age limit. This will have to be discussed with the other admins, but we can start here. Even though we have no canon plot, I still think it's highly unlikely for first years to be able to compete in something so difficult.
I think 14 and up is best.
That means I'll either have to wait a few terms to try and get this going OR allow students of all years. If I do that, there's going to be temporary chaos as students move around in year (those already joined would be allowed to choose a year). Because of that, lessons for the rest of this term can go on as they are, with all years together, so professors don't have to suddenly make lessons for all sorts of years.
Professor Demeetrie, you mentioned being on the Durmstrang site Jen linked to. Tell me, is it good? Demeetrie and Professor Avallone, do you think the admins would be willing to participate?

This could be really complex to organize, but rewarding if it's done in the right way. To me, it looks like an entirely new site would need to be created to stand as a sort of neutral ground so all those of the three schools can participate equally. Canon Tournament aside, it wouldn't be fair to hold it on one site because the other two would have very little to do with it.Before anything can begin to be organized, the rest of the members will need to express interest.
