[/b] [li]Time for some romance. Since the contest will span January and February, it can revolve around St. Valentine's Day, but does not have to. [/li][li]Poems and prose are both acceptable (prose as in short story). [/li][li]It must be full of Potter goodness. Original characters are allowed as long as there are canons, too. [/li][li]There are no limits on length, but think about the audience and how they'll like reading something very short or very long. [/li][/ul] [/b] [li]PM the piece to me by midnight February 28th, Mountain Time. I will post them all on March 1 st. [/li][li]Late pieces can still be posted by yourself, but will not be part of the contest unless the deadline is extended. [/li][/ul] [/b] [li]Wins 100 points for the House s/he affiliates with. [/li][li]Is chosen by a poll vote that will span from the 1 st to the 6 th of March.[/li][/ul] [/b] [li]Every person who enters the contest gets 1 karma point. [/li][li]Every vote you get, regardless of whether you win or not gives you another karma point (5 votes = 5 extra karma points).[/li][/ul] [/b] [li]Use the Spell Check. [/li][li]Have somebody else proofread; preferably someone familiar with the Harry Potter universe. [/li][li]SPELL CHECK. [/li][li]For the love of Dumbledore's knitted socks, use the spell check![/li][/ul]

I better turn out than last time already.
Big D, I've typed out the instructions in the first post. All you need to do is write something that has to do with romance. It can be anything from a fluffy, bubbly story filled with proclamations of true love to a dark, twisted poem of a scorned heart. Just make sure it has at least one character from the books and all is well.
