Tags:For the best understanding of the tags offered in the "reply" section, experiment. The following is an explination of what each tag does to your text. - Bold - Italic (slanted) - Underline - Strikethrough (crosses out text) - Glow (change "red" to the color you wish the glow to be, change "2,300" to increase/decrease how much it glows) - Shadow (change "red" to the color you want the shadow to be, change "left" to the shadow direction you want, change "300" to modify how big the shadow is) - Marquee (makes text move across the message box) - Preformatted Text (Maintains spacing of copy/pasted text.) - Align Left - Align Center - Align Right - Horizontal Rule (Makes a line to break up text) - Font Size - Font Face - Blockquote - Insert Hyperlink - Insert Ftp Link - Insert Image - Insert Email - Insert Table - Insert Table Column (Vertical part of table) - Insert Table Row (Horizontal part of table) - Superscript (Ex. 1 st, 2 nd) - Subscript (Ex. H 2O) - Teletype - Code (Shows the tags used) - Insert Quote - Insert List - Google It (Links to Google search page.) - Spoiler (Hides text.)

NOTE: Any thread, closed or not, may be entered by a professor if rules are being broken. The only way to keep them out is to get my say, which can only be done if you have a very good reason (i.e. a good plot). I don't want to see every single thread closed; it discourages those who are not included. Anyone can ask OOC or via PM to be included, though it's up to those already in the thread to allow others.
Specify Thread Status:
There are several ways to tell people about your thread, whether it's open, locked, etc.
1. Title of Thread - Status (Ex. Relaxing - Bobby-Joe Jackson) 2. Title of Thread //Status// 3. Title of Thread (Status)
Leave Threads Open:
You may either place the word "Open" in your thread title or nothing at all.
1. Title of Thread - Open 2. Title of Thread
Close Threads:
There are many degrees to which you may limit access to your threads.
1. Closed - A general term saying that you've invited the people you want to post with. Easiest to use when there are several people you want to include. 2. Name(s) (Ex. A Stroll //Bobby-Joe Jackson//) - Tells everyone exactly who you want in the thread. Only really for use with one or two names or a broad term (//Students//). Otherwise, Closed is better. 3. Invite - Says that everyone posting has been expressly asked to be included.
